Barack Obama has one and millions of lefties seem to think that its the second coming, that Big O is going to lead us all into a future Democrat utopia. OK, maybe not that bad - but close. Much of the progressive wing of the Dem party (and I consider myself to be pretty much […]

I haven’t posted much on the passage of Prop 8. I’ve tried to consolidate my thoughts on it, gauge what is going on, sentiment and legality. I’ve listened to people I deeply agree with and vehemently disagree with - people I know very well or nearly not at all. Mostly I’ve been frustrated, sad and […]

Sometimes you come across something that is far better thought out and better researched than your own opinions. I came across an article like that today in The New Republic. In it, John B. Judis argues that the current Democratic shift in America has been happening for some time and was simply interrupted by 9/11. […]

If you’re willing to pay for an encounter, San Francisco might soon be the place. Soon SF residents will be voting on Prop K, which would prevent enforcement of prostitution laws within the city. It would also allow prostitutes to form collectives - unions, essentially. (Side note, Rhode Island allows sex for cash behind closed […]

Thanks to the “little” announcement at work this morning, I’ve been pretty out of sorts all day. There’s not enough details available to me to weigh any options yet - but of course I’m damn near freaking out and re-evaluating pretty much everything. While I don’t necessarily feel “at home” in Burbank, even now, I […]

Been quiet on here, I know. Just haven’t had blogging motivation of late. Some notes:
Playoffs are here. Kickball, that is. My team has it’s first round playoff game Monday. We have the ability to win, so we’d better do so.
