Well, Dark Avatar - the expansion for GalCiv2 - was released early yesterday to those who pre-ordered.

I of course pre-ordered.

So, it should be obvious what I've been up to tonight....

I love Stardock, they rule and treat their fans/customers like they're the most important thing in the world. As they should.

I thought Moo2 was way better than Moo1. This game sounds pretty cool, though, I have to say.

By the way, slightly unrelated, have you ever played Uplink, by Ambrosia Software? If not, you should definitely check it out: here. It's by the same company that did Escape Velocity, another old Mac-turned-cross-platform classic.

I don't know. Probably. What I do know is that they've confirmed that their next game will be a 4X fantasy game. It's already in development. It will very likely be multiplayer. They also tried to do Master of Magic 2, but Atari wouldn't sell the rights - so they're just doing their own. But it will probably be very similar...the only thing we know so far is that there will be city settlers (like MoM) and there will be hero units (like MoM).
